Raiding Specs
General information regarding spec'ing for raiding.
Its simple guys, its combat, its your choice whether it be swords,fists or a sword/fist build. (see what i did there?). For non-progressional combat or loot whoring i dont mind if you rock up to raids PVP spec'd, as long as you dont pull that shit in BT.
Listed below is the spec'd i will accept you having in order of perference.

While i understand the 50g is hard to come up with to respec, but its well established that 30/X/X and X/X/41 builds are substantionly inferior to X/41/X and X/45/X builds.
The verdit is still out on mutilate build, prove me wrong.

why Fist as a raiding weapon set?
like I thought it would of been
Sword>Dagger>Fist>Mace>Polearm

No, seeing as the 5% crit add from fist spec provides a constant stream of damage it is placed above daggers for a build.
Daggers are in no way permissable as a raiding spec as it requires direction (see movement enchant post) higher energy costs and of course high end daggers, using the fact that SS is base damage and is not effected by AP (weapon damage is) is non-directional and of course allows you to use higher base damage weapons, daggers will always rank lower then swords and fists in BC.
However, if you would prefer some math behind it... (swords/fist)
Aggression = 1 + (0.02 * Aggression Rank)
Lethality = 0.06 * Lethality Rank
Surprise Attacks = 1 + (0.10 * Surprise Attacks)
Modifier = (Attack Power / 14) * Normalized Weapon Speed
Sinister Strike = (Weapon Damage + Modifier + Extra Damage) * Aggression * Surprise Attacks
Critical Sinister Strike = Sinister Strike * (2 + Lethality)
Daggers.
Opportunity = 0.04 * Opportunity Rank
Lethality = 0.06 * Lethality Rank
Surprise Attacks = 0.10 * Surprise Attacks Rank
Aggression = 0.02 * Aggression Rank
Modifier = Attack Power / 14 * 1.7
Normal hit = [(Weapon Damage + Modifier) * 1.5 + Backstab Bonus Damage] * (1 + Opportunity + Surprise Attacks + Aggression)
Critical hit = Normal hit * (2 + Lethality)
So plug in the information with badge fists vs badge daggers and as always remember the energy cost of -20 in the equation, fist/sword builds will consistantly be higher for fights over 12 seconds.
