Raiding Specs

Here are a list of raiding specs that you are able to choose from

you can experiment with these and find which one suits you. but please try and follow the talents as they are designed to help with your dps.

Arcane/Frost(40/0/21)

the spec i normally go with. my shot rotation is 2x frostbolt then 1x arcane blast then repeat. I have also heard people using 3x arcane blast then 3x frostbolt then repeat. gives a great amount of damage through crits and an excellent way to boost your dps.

Arcane/Fire(40/18/3)

This imo is the best pve/Pregeared raid spec you can get, it will give you spell damage/hit bonuses until you collect your gear, After you get enough spell damage with this specc (around 1000+) you could swap to fire pve or continue stacking spell dmg & spell hit.

Fire (10/45/3)

considered to be the top raid DPS for a mage. relying on 5x scorch then fireballs

Frost (18/0/43)

Frost builds do their damage with straightup Frostbolts and the Water Elemental this spec adds clear casting and meditation

you could experiment with a full frost tree but it is very much so a pvp spec and not advised to spec as raid so if you are in this spec i would advise you to respec asap from boss fights going into 25mans.
